Optigen Virtual 20/20 Clinic
SCARF, in conjunction with Optigen, will be sponsoring a VIRTUAL 20/20 clinic in the fall. This will be open to all SCA members and will be limited to Samoyeds only. The event is “virtual”, because you will have to have the specimens collected at your own vet and send them in yourselves – there will not be a collection held at the national.
From October 25th through Nov 10th, you may register online with Optigen for either or both of the DNA tests that they offer for the Samoyed breed [XL-PRA and/or RD/OSD]. By registering online, you will receive a 5% discount.
When registering, use the following code SCAX1025 to receive the additional 20% discount.
After registering, you must have your own vet draw the blood samples or collect the cheek swabs yourself and ship them to Optigen to be received NO LATER THAN NOV. 19th.
After you receive your results, you can supply SCARF with a copy of the receipt showing that you participated in the “virtual” 20/20 clinic to receive an additional rebate of $50 per test (maximum of $100 per Samoyed). This will help to defray the expense of collecting and shipping the samples.
